Whispers of the Sapphire Tides

By Craig Bosward • Clarity Series

a sailing ship is tropical waters

English Reflection

The vessel moves with a steady grace, a sliver of ivory against the boundless expanse of sapphire blue. Here, time dissolves into the rhythm of the tides. The salt hangs heavy in the air, tasting of distant lands and forgotten maps. Every crest of a wave is a transient sculpture, born and vanished in the blink of an eye. Beneath the hull, the water remains secret and deep, reflecting the overhead sun in flickering diamonds. There is no hurry in these latitudes; only the steady pulse of the wind catching the canvas. The horizon does not end; it simply invites the gaze further into the haze where the sea meets the sky. To sail here is to surrender to the movement, to find clarity in the space between the shore and the infinite.
